  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup sugar-free tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, parmesan cheese, almond flour, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. Place the meat mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Using your hands, press and shape the meat into a thin crust, about 1/4 inch thick.

  4. Bake the meat crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

  5. Remove the crust from the oven and drain any excess grease. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges.

  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce, and arrange the pepperoni slices on top.

  7. Return the meatza to the oven and bake for an additional 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
