Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 8 ounces of mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.

  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened.

  5. Add the minced garlic and dried thyme to the skillet. Cook for an additional 1 minute.

  6. Return the pork chops to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until heated through.

  7. Serve the pork chops topped with the mushrooms and onions.
