  • 4 steelhead trout fillets
  • 4 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving


  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with foil.

  2. Place the steelhead trout fillets in the prepared baking dish.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, honey, minced garlic, dried dill, salt, and pepper.

  4. Spoon the mustard mixture evenly over the trout fillets, spreading it out to completely coat them.

  5. Bake the trout in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

  6. Serve the trout hot, accompanied by lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.
