Ingredients

  • 4 sheets of nori seaweed
  • 2 cups of sushi rice
  • 1/2 pound of fresh salmon, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup of spicy mayo
  • 1/4 cup of sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.

  2. Lay a sheet of nori seaweed on a bamboo sushi mat.

  3. Wet your hands with water and spread a thin layer of sushi rice on the nori seaweed, leaving a small border at the top.

  4. Drizzle some spicy mayo and sriracha sauce on top of the rice.

  5. Place a few slices of salmon, avocado, cucumber, and green onion in the center of the rice.

  6. Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, applying gentle pressure.

  7. Repeat steps 2-6 with the remaining ingredients.

  8. Slice each sushi roll into bite-sized pieces using a sharp knife.

  9. Serve the spicy salmon maki with soy sauce and sesame oil for dipping.
