  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, etc.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty.

  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of oil. Place the turkey burgers in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

  4. While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns if desired.

  5. Serve the turkey burgers on the toasted buns and add your favorite toppings.
