Ingredients

  • 1 head of Taiwanese cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the hot oil and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

  3. Add the sliced cabbage to the wok and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, until it starts to wilt and become slightly tender.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the cabbage and stir to coat.

  5. Continue stir-frying for another 2-3 minutes, until the cabbage is cooked to your desired texture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Optional: garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
