  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Cut the avocados in half, remove the seed, and peel off the skin. Slice each avocado half into 1/4-inch thick slices.

  3. In a shallow dish, combine the grated parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Dip each avocado slice into the bread crumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere the coating to the avocado.

  5. Place the coated avocado slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the avocado crisps are golden brown and crispy.

  7. Serve the avocado pizza crisps hot with marinara sauce for dipping.
