  • 1 pound calamari rings

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, paprika, and garlic powder.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium-high heat.

  3. Dip the calamari rings into the flour mixture, coating them evenly.

  4. Carefully place the coated calamari into the hot oil, frying in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Remove the fried calamari from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

  6. Serve hot with lemon wedges and marinara sauce for dipping.
