How To Make Coconut Curry Fish Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb fish fillets
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 can (14 oz) coconut milk
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions

In a bowl, combine curry powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and chili powder.

Pat dry the fish fillets and season with salt. Coat the fish with the spice mixture, making sure to cover all sides.

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add sliced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Cook until onions are caramelized, about 5 minutes.

Push the onion mixture to one side of the skillet and place the fish fillets in the skillet. Cook for about 3 minutes on each side or until the fish is cooked through.

Pour in the coconut milk and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and let it cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Serve the Coconut Curry Fish over steamed rice or with naan bread. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
