  • 12 ounces linguini
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.

  4. Stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt. Cook for another 2 minutes to combine the flavors.

  5. Add the cooked linguini to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta with the lemon pepper sauce.

  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley.
