How To Make Seared Tuna with Wasabi-Butter Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 tuna steaks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp black sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp wasabi paste
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the tuna steaks to the skillet and sear for 1-2 minutes per side for rare to medium-rare doneness.

Remove the tuna from the skillet and set aside.

In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, soy sauce, wasabi paste, and lemon juice until well combined.

Place the skillet back on low heat and add the butter mixture.

Stir until the butter melts and the sauce is heated through.

Serve the seared tuna steaks drizzled with the wasabi-butter sauce and sprinkle with black sesame seeds.
