Ingredients

  • 4 barramundi fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat dry the barramundi fillets with paper towels.

  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, and pepper.

  3. Dredge each barramundi fillet in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

  4. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Add the barramundi fillets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  6. Remove the fillets from the skillet and set aside.

  7. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

  8. Add lemon slices and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  9. Serve the pan-fried barramundi fillets with the garlic-lemon mixture on top.

  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
