How To Make Shrimp Chow Mein

Ingredients
- 8 oz chow mein noodles
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions

Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add onion and garlic. Stir-fry for 2 minutes until fragrant.

Add bell pepper, cabbage, carrots, and bean sprouts. Cook for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

Return the shrimp to the skillet and add cooked noodles.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Pour over the shrimp and noodles. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well coated and heated through.

Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
