How To Make Louisiana Crawfish Ya-Ya Pasta

  • 8 ounces of linguine pasta
  • 1 pound of Louisiana crawfish tails
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish


  1. Cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.

  3. Add the crawfish tails to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes until heated through.

  4. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.

  6. Add the cooked linguine pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.

  7. Serve the Louisiana crawfish Ya-Ya pasta hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
