Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of blue cheese
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground sausage, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, and honey until well combined.

  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.

  3. Heat a grill or pan over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

  4. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  5. Place a cooked sausage patty on each bun, then top with a slice of blue cheese, some red onion slices, and a lettuce leaf.
