How To Make Shaved Beef Stir-Fry

This dish is a savory stir-fry of thinly sliced beef, crisp vegetables, and a flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shaved beef sirloin
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • Salt and black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until browned.

  3. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

  4. Add the peppers, onions, and mushrooms to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until softened.

  5. Add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 1 minute.

  6. Add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Stir to combine.

  7. Add the beef back to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until heated through.

  8. Serve hot with rice or noodles.
