Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, sliced thinly
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, and cornstarch. Set aside.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until browned. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add the garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 1 minute, until fragrant.

  4. Add the pineapple chunks and cook for 2 minutes, until heated through.

  5. Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce over the top. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and coated the beef and pineapple.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the green onions.

  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
