Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • 4 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes to make the marinade.

  2. Place the beef cubes in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.

  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  4. Thread the marinated beef, bell pepper chunks, and onion chunks onto the soaked wooden skewers.

  5. Grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.

  6. Serve the zingy teriyaki beef skewers hot and enjoy!
