Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.

  2. Marinate the beef slices in the soy sauce mixture for at least 15 minutes.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Add the marinated beef slices to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness.

  5. Pour the remaining marinade over the beef in the skillet and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef nicely.

  6. Sprinkle sliced green onions on top before serving.
