Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard

Instructions

  1. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into balls.

  2. Preheat a griddle or a frying pan over medium-high heat.

  3. Season each beef ball with salt and pepper.

  4. Place a beef ball on the griddle and use a spatula to smash it flat, creating a thin patty.

  5. Cook the patty for 2-3 minutes until it develops a crust. Flip it and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  6. Add a slice of cheese on top of each patty and allow it to melt.

  7. Toast the burger buns on the griddle for a minute.

  8. Assemble the burgers by placing the patty on the bottom bun and adding desired toppings.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
