How To Make Teriyaki Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.

  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the teriyaki marinade over them. Let marinate for 10 minutes.

  3. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  4. Remove salmon from marinade, reserving the marinade.

  5. Grill salmon for about 4-5 minutes per side, basting with the reserved marinade occasionally, until cooked through and flaky.

  6. Transfer grilled salmon to a serving platter and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

  7. Serve the teriyaki salmon hot with steamed rice or vegetables.
