Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 15 minutes
Total: 30 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 2 lemons, divided
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 ounces spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Start by squeezing the juice of one lemon over the tilapia fillets. Season the fillets with salt and pepper, then dredge them in flour, shaking off any excess.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the tilapia fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the fillets from the skillet and set aside.

  3. While the tilapia is cooking, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and return it to the pot.

  4. Squeeze the juice of the second lemon over the drained pasta. Add the Parmesan cheese and parsley to the pot and toss everything together until well combined.

  5. To serve, divide the pasta among four plates and top each portion with a tilapia fillet. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
