  • 4 tuna steaks (about 6 ounces each)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, thyme, or dill)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Season the tuna steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.

  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Add the tuna steaks to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.

  4. Remove the tuna steaks from the skillet and set them aside.

  5. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

  6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.

  7. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.

  8. Stir in the chopped herbs.

  9. Return the tuna steaks to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until heated through.

  10. Serve the tuna steaks with the garlic-herb cream sauce spooned over the top and lemon wedges on the side.
