  • 4 halibut fillets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  2. Dip each halibut fillet into the flour mixture, coating both sides evenly.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Place the coated halibut fillets into the hot oil and fry for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Remove the fried halibut fillets from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  6. Serve the light and crispy fried halibut immediately, with your choice of side dishes.
