Preparation: 20 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes
Total: 30 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillets
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine lemon juice, minced garlic, soy sauce, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

  2. Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure all sides are coated. Let marinate for 10 minutes.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

  4. In a separate bowl, add all-purpose flour. Take each marinated fish fillet, shake off excess marinade, and coat it in flour. Shake off excess flour and gently place it in the hot oil.

  5. Fry the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.

  6. Serve the marinated fried fish hot with tartar sauce or lemon wedges.
