Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp bourbon
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, bourbon, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic.

  4. Brush the glaze onto the salmon fillets, coating them evenly.

  5. Place the salmon fillets on the grill or on a baking sheet lined with foil.

  6. Cook for about 10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and easily flakes with a fork.

  7. While the salmon is cooking, brush on more glaze every few minutes.

  8. Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill or oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

  9. Serve the salmon hot with your favorite side dishes.
