How To Make Asparagus with Spiced Butter & Brown Shrimp

Ingredients
- 1 bunch of asparagus
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 lb brown shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions

Trim the woody ends of the asparagus and rinse them under cold water.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

Stir in the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.

Brush the asparagus spears with the spiced butter mixture.

Grill the asparagus for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and lightly charred.

While the asparagus is grilling, heat a separate skillet over medium heat.

Add the brown shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, until they turn pink and opaque.

Remove the asparagus from the grill and arrange on a serving platter.

Place the cooked brown shrimp on top of the asparagus.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
