How To Make Almond-Crusted Sea Bass

Here’s a quick sea bass recipe that makes a low-carb and tasty flaky fish, with bites of crunch from the almond crust. Cooked in just under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 4tbspbutter,melted
  • 6ozsea bass,(2 fillets)
  • 2eggs,beaten
  • cupsalmonds,finely ground
  • 1tsponion powder
  • 1tspseafood seasoning,such as Old Bay®
  • 1tspsea salt
  • ½tspgarlic powder
  • cupsromano cheese,grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Melt butter in a 9×13-inch glass baking dish.

  2. Pat the sea bass fillets dry. Dip into beaten eggs. Coat with almonds; season with onion powder, seafood seasoning, salt, and garlic powder.

  3. Place in the buttered baking dish.

  4. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes until fish is opaque.

  5. Remove from the oven then top with Romano cheese. Continue baking for about 5 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork.

  6. Serve and enjoy.
