  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Spread chopped pecans in bottom of unbaked pie crust.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until fully combined.

  4. Pour mixture over pecans in pie crust.

  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until center is set and crust is golden brown.

  6. Let cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
