How To Make Classic Smoked Sausage & Peppers Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

  2. Add sliced sausage to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

  3. Remove sausage from the skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add onion and bell peppers. Cook until they begin to soften, about 5 minutes.

  5. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

  6. Return the sausage to the skillet and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

  7. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the sausage is heated through and the vegetables are tender.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
