How To Make Best Grilled Margarita Chicken… Ever!

If you’re the outdoorsy type who simply loves grilled food and barbeque, then these grilled and BBQ recipes are for you! Cooking at the grill will be no challenge at all when you’ve got our grilled and BBQ recipes at hand.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Lime wedges, for serving
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the tequila, lime juice, orange juice, minced garlic, honey, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor.

  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken on the hot grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  5. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  6. Serve the grilled margarita chicken with lime wedges and garnish with fresh cilantro.
