How To Make Barbeque Rib Brine Recipe

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs of pork ribs
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons of black peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoons of smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons of garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons of onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine water, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, kosher salt, black peppercorns, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  2. Bring the brine mixture to a boil, then remove from heat and let it cool completely.

  3. Place the pork ribs in a large resealable bag or container, and pour the cooled brine over the ribs.

  4. Seal the bag or cover the container and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

  5. Preheat the grill to medium heat.

  6. Remove the ribs from the brine and pat them dry with paper towels.

  7. Grill the ribs for about 30 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  8. Serve the barbeque ribs hot and enjoy!
