How To Make Asian Beef Skewers

If you’re the outdoorsy type who simply loves grilled food and barbeque, then these grilled and BBQ recipes are for you! Cooking at the grill will be no challenge at all when you’ve got our grilled and BBQ recipes at hand.

Total: 30 minutes



  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • Bamboo skewers, soaked in water


  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, vegetable oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).

  2. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  3. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  4. Thread the marinated beef, bell pepper, and red onion onto the soaked bamboo skewers.

  5. Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.

  6. Remove from grill and serve hot.
