  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a small bowl, combine lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper.

  2. Place chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.

  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

  4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the excess liquid.

  6. Grill chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.

  7. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
