Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg beef brisket
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Season the beef brisket with salt and pepper.

  4. Brush the barbecue sauce mixture onto the beef brisket, making sure to cover all sides.

  5. Place the beef brisket on the grill and cook for 30 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

  6. Remove the beef brisket from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

  7. Slice the beef brisket against the grain and serve with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.
