How To Make Cornell Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken leg quarters
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup poultry seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon paprika

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together vinegar, oil, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika to make the marinade.

  2. Add chicken leg quarters to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.

  3. Preheat grill to medium heat.

  4. Remove chicken from marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Discard remaining marinade.

  5. Place chicken on the grill and cook for about 12-15 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  6. Remove chicken from grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
