How To Make Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: sour cream, shredded cheese, chopped green onions
Instructions

In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot and cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the pumpkin puree, diced tomatoes, black beans, chicken broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Bring the chili to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve the chili hot, garnished with sour cream, shredded cheese, and chopped green onions, if desired.
