Ingredients

  • 4 slices of baguette or bread rounds
  • 2 tablespoons of basil pesto
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush one side of each slice with olive oil.

  3. Spread the basil pesto evenly on the oiled side of each bread slice.

  4. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the pesto.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the bread is golden and crisp.

  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

  7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
