  • cups flour
  • 1 pkg yeast
  • ¼ cup butter
  • cup water, warm
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • egg wash , (1 egg + 1 tbsp sugar)


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a bowl, add some warm water and yeast then whisk to dissolve.
  3. Add the sugar, salt, butter, egg, milk then add to 2 cups of flour and mix well.
  4. Add the remaining flour and knead for 7 to 10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Cover with a clean cloth and let it rest for an hour.
  6. After a while, divide and roll this into balls.
  7. Fill the greased baking sheet with the rolled dough.
  8. Cover with a damped cloth and allow it to rise in a warm place until doubled.
  9. Brush with egg wash and bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
