- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
-
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
-
In a separate bowl, mix the buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.

On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
-
Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough.
-
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the buttered dough.

Starting from the long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal-sized rolls.
-
Place the rolls, cut side up, in the greased baking dish.
-
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
-
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
