
How To Make Italian Style Sausage Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the onion, red bell pepper, and yellow bell pepper. Cook until the vegetables are tender.

Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute.

Stir in the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.

Slice the cooked Italian sausage into bite-sized pieces and add back to the skillet. Cook for an additional 10 minutes.

Serve the Italian style sausage mixture over cooked pasta or with crusty bread. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
