How To Make Air Fryer “Sun-Dried” Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).

  2. Cut the tomatoes into 1/2-inch thick slices.

  3. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, dried basil, garlic powder, and dried oregano.

  4. Brush the tomato slices with the olive oil mixture on both sides.

  5. Place the tomato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  6. Air fry the tomatoes for 3 hours, flipping them over halfway through, until they are slightly shriveled and dried.

  7. Remove the tomatoes from the air fryer and let them cool before serving.
