How To Make Simple Spinach Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups of fresh spinach
  • 1 cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup of marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, spinach, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.

  5. Place 3 cooked lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.

  6. Spoon half of the spinach and cheese mixture over the noodles, spreading it evenly.

  7. Repeat layers with marinara sauce, noodles, and the remaining spinach and cheese mixture.

  8. Finish with a layer of marinara sauce and sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on top.

  9. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  11. Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes before serving.
