Ingredients

  • 12 oz Rotini pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook Rotini pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain any excess fat.

  3. Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onions are translucent.

  4. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.

  5. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  6. Serve Bolognese sauce over cooked Rotini pasta. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese to taste.
