  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

  2. Gradually add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients while stirring with a wooden spoon until the dough starts to come together.

  3. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

  4. Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise for about 2 hours or until it doubles in size.

  5. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).

  6. Punch down the dough to release any air bubbles and transfer it onto a lightly floured surface. Divide it into 4 equal parts.

  7. Roll out each portion into your desired pizza shape and thickness.

  8. Place the pizza dough on a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.

  9. Add your favorite toppings and bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
