Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary

Instructions

  1. Add the warm water, olive oil, sugar, salt, bread flour, and active dry yeast to the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.

  2. Set the bread machine to the “Dough” setting and press start.

  3. Once the dough has completed its cycle, remove it from the machine and place it on a floured surface.

  4. Knead the dough for a few minutes, then shape it into a loaf.

  5. Place the loaf in a greased bread pan and sprinkle the dried rosemary on top.

  6. Cover the loaf with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.

  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  8. Bake the bread for about 30 minutes, or until it is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

  9. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
