How To Make Graham Crackers

Ingredients
- 2¾cupwhole wheat graham flour,plus more for rolling
- ½tspbaking powder
- ½tspsalt
- 1tspcinnamon,ground
- 8tbspbutter,unsalted
- 1cupbrown sugar,packed
- ½cupwater
- corn oil,to grease the pan, optional

Mix the flour with the baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a medium bowl.

Combine the butter and sugar in a large bowl, and beat until fluffy and no longer gritty.

Stir in ¼ of the flour mixture at a time, alternating with ⅓ of the water, until blended

Cover with plastic wrap and let rest 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease 2 baking sheets with oil or line with parchment.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to an ⅛-inch thick rectangle.

Cut into 2-inch squares with a pizza cutter or knife, or use a 2-inch cookie cutter to cut out rounds.
