  • 1 cup dried apricots, chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat.

  2. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the apricots are soft and the chutney has thickened.

  3. Remove from heat and let it cool completely before serving.

  4. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to a week.
