How To Make Soft-Boiled Eggs in the Microwave

Eggs for breakfast. Need we say more? There’s no denying that this ingredient is a staple in most people’s morning diets. There’s a good reason behind it, too. Aside from being protein and nutrient-packed, you don’t need to do much in order to make them taste delicious! You can make do with a simple sunny-side up, scrambled, or boiled rendition for regular days. There are also several ways of sprucing them up! Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 tsp of salt

Instructions

  1. Place 1 cup of water in a microwave-safe bowl and add 2 eggs.

  2. Microwave on high for 2 minutes for soft-boiled eggs or 3 minutes for medium-boiled eggs.

  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the remaining eggs.

  4. Once cooked, carefully remove the eggs from the bowl using a slotted spoon.

  5. Run the eggs under cold water for 1 minute to stop the cooking process.

  6. Gently tap each egg on a hard surface to crack the shell, then peel the eggs.

  7. Sprinkle the eggs with salt and serve.
