How To Make Seafood Boil Sauce

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ½ onion, diced
- 3 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
- ¾ cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp lemon pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
- Heat a medium saucepan over a medium-low setting. Add ½ cup of butter and oil.
- When the butter has melted, add onions and saute until soft. Add garlic and saute for 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Sprinkle in Old Bay seasoning, lemon pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, and brown sugar. Stir and mix together.
- Turn down the heat to low and add the remaining butter. Simmer until the butter has melted while stirring constantly.
- Add the chicken broth into the saucepan and cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Turn off the heat and pour over a favorite dish like grilled or fried seafood or serve as a dipping sauce on the side.
